Jambo, Means Hello

Jambo! I am Sarah Cotton. I am in 9th grade, and attend Battle Mountain High School in Vail, Colorado. I am 14 years old, and this summer I have been given the opportunity to travel to Tanzania with Children's Global Alliance. This trip can not come soon enough, and already we have begun to start putting our fundraising ideas together. Sometimes we think that the most important part of service is what we can see that has changed, but the most significant part is the imprint we leave on the hearts of those we love. Physical things are only temporary, but memories, those are things we get to keep forever. Love is something that everybody has, everybody needs, but the true gift of love is simply to love. This is the reason why I want to travel to Tanzania, to unconditionally love. I have been on service trips before, but never have I ever had the opportunity to travel half way across the world to learn from, teach, and love these children.

Days until my Life is Changed Forever~ 8 months and 23 days
